After last nights historic defeat for PM May and her government what next?

I don’t think anyone can answer this question yet only time will tell but more importantly how does this affect our business?

As a company we believe that given the current political circumstances a WTO deal looks increasingly likely and all of us at Eagle International Distribution Ltd are preparing for this outcome.  Whilst we do not believe some of the horrific scare stories surrounding a WTO Brexit we are nonetheless planning as best we can to reduce the impact on our company and customers.

Thankfully, our best selling and market leading product Eagle Solid Surface Cleaner and our recently launched Eagle Solid Surface Polish are manufactured in the UK and will continue to be so after Brexit.  We have been advised of slightly increased lead times on some of the ingredients however we have factored this into our buying process and increasing our stock accordingly.

The products that we sell that are sourced from UK businesses but manufactured overseas such as our adhesive guns and microfibre cloths may be impacted slightly.  However, both our suppliers & Eagle are increasing stock levels where possible to minimise any impact.

The road ahead over the next 6 months has the potential to be very bumpy but all we can do is work as hard as possible to ensure there are no major delays in fulfilling our customers orders.

If you have any questions please do get in touch.

It has been brought to our attention that some retailers, mainly through eBay, are selling private label “Solid Surface Cleaner”

These products are not ours and in most cases just a re-named glass cleaner!  Eagle Solid Surface Cleaner is a registered trademark of Eagle International Distribution Ltd and we do not permit any other stockist, distributor or company to use this name on their products – with or without the Eagle brand.

This is very misleading to all our customers.  To avoid disappointment, please make sure you only order Eagle branded products – don’t accept any substitutes.
