COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Update 16th March 2020

We’re still delivering to our customers, but if you are self-isolating please help us keep our staff & couriers as safe as possible.  Once your order is confirmed on our webshop ( please email your order ID, name and preferred safe place to so that we can advise our couriers.  For telephone orders please tell us when placing your order and for eBay orders please send us a message with your order or through the site.

There is some scientific evidence which demonstrates that COVID-19 can survive up to 4 hours on cardboard and up to 72 hours on steel & plastic.    Our most popular products are pre-packed and stored in our warehouse at least a week in advance.  As we use a 2-3 day courier service the contents of any parcel we send you should be fine, however we cannot guarantee that the outer packaging has not become contaminated. Please be mindful of this when receiving parcels and wash your hands thoroughly.

We continue to follow all government advice and taken further steps to protect our staff, customers, suppliers and couriers.  Last week we took the difficult decision to ban all face to face meetings indefinitely.  We have also banned handshakes and cheek kiss greetings – we have suggested this be replaced with the traditional Indian Namaste  🙏🏻 greeting.

We are continuing to work hard to keep stock levels high so that we prevent any delays in delivering orders to our customers.  Our no deal Brexit plans from 2019 are serving us well and we are trying to be proactive as possible to stay ahead of the changes across the world.  That said we are starting to experience some supply issues of raw materials for our products.  Many chemical suppliers have declared force majeure and seriously limiting supply – the closing of countries borders will only impact the supply chain further.  We have started to see some massive price increases for some ingredients – hopefully we can mitigate some of this by continuing to keep high stock levels of most products.

This is a very fast-moving situation and will update you further when we have new information.

Please stay safe, don’t take unnecessary risks, wash your hands regularly, be kind to your fellow humans and be mindful of the elderly, vulnerable and poor who cannot afford to buy more than they need.

Thank you for your understanding during these unprecedented times.
